American Psychological Association
The American Psychological Association (APA) is the largest scientific and professional organization of psychologists in the United States and the world, with over 100,000 active members in its 54 divisions. The APA represents psychology in its diverse forms, seeking to promote research, ethical practice, and advocate for policies that improve the quality of life for individuals and communities. The organization is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in psychology and society at large.
American Psychiatric Association
The American Psychiatric Association (APA) is a professional and scientific organization that brings together over 38,000 psychiatrists in the United States and worldwide. Its mission is to promote understanding, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders, and it updates the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), a key reference in promoting mental health, fighting stigma, and advocating for the interests of mental health professionals.
American Board of Professional Psychology
The American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) is a U.S. entity that certifies excellence in clinical and professional psychology, granting certifications in various specialties through rigorous exams and evaluations. Obtaining ABPP certification demonstrates competence, ethics, and quality, instilling confidence in clients and entities. Its recognition reinforces clinical and professional excellence, establishing itself as a respected standard in the mental health community in the U.S. and worldwide.
Alliance for Continuing Education for Healthcare Professionals
The Alliance is a community of professionals in the healthcare field aiming to share and implement best practices across all healthcare professions and environments. Members share and discuss new research, medical advances, technological developments, as well as effective teaching methods. The Alliance strives to improve the quality of healthcare and promote the professional growth of its members through continuing education.
Secretary of Public Education
The Secretaría de Educación Pública (SEP) of Mexico is a governmental entity tasked with educational policy and the regulation of the national education system. The SEP oversees every level of education, establishing academic and curricular standards. Its role includes teacher training, the development of educational programs, and the promotion of equity and educational quality throughout the country. Additionally, it coordinates the distribution of resources for educational development and implements policies to enhance education.
Secretary of Health
The Secretaría de Salud (SSa) of Mexico is the governmental entity responsible for overseeing and regulating public health in the country. The SSa is tasked with developing policies, programs, and strategies to promote disease prevention, healthcare, and the well-being of the population. It manages hospital infrastructure, coordinates the distribution of medical resources and medications, works on the training and education of healthcare personnel, and promotes research and innovation in the country's medical field.
Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare
The Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social (STPS) of Mexico is a governmental institution responsible for promoting and regulating dignified work, labor safety, and justice in labor relations. The STPS oversees the implementation of policies and programs to ensure appropriate labor conditions, as well as the training and education of workers. Additionally, it focuses on the prevention of labor risks and the promotion of inclusion and gender equality in the workplace.
Public Health Ministry
The Ministry of Public Health of Cuba (MINSAP) is the governmental entity responsible for managing and regulating health in the country. MINSAP oversees healthcare, disease prevention, and health promotion throughout the nation. It coordinates the training and education of healthcare professionals and medical-scientific research. It is responsible for international cooperation on health and healthcare matters, based on primary care, equity, and universal access to health services.
The Global Compact US
The Global Compact is a network of organizations implementing development strategies in areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. Entities participating in the Global Compact commit to adopting policies and actions that promote social and environmental well-being. They also engage in local and global networks to share best practices, experiences, and knowledge, contributing to the achievement of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
AGENDA 2030 - SDGs
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the Global Compact Network are a set of 17 interconnected objectives adopted by the United Nations as part of its 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The SDGs cover a wide range of topics, including poverty eradication, gender equality, quality education, climate action, peace, and justice. Each goal has specific targets to achieve a more equitable, sustainable, and just world for all people and the planet as a whole.
